Resources for SEND/Special Schools

(Updated April 9th, 2020) Thank you for visiting the SEND/Special Schools section of the SAfE website. This part of the website is currently under development. We appreciate your patience as we continue to develop this page.

Whilst we continue to work on this part of the website, please find below some links that may be helpful:

  • Nasen's SENDGateway has compiled a suite of condition-specific guidance videos with the Centre for Education and Youth you can access here
  • University College London's Institute of Education has provided a guide for helping manage the transition to home learning.
  • The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families has created a downloadable guide to support mental health and wellbeing during periods of distruption.

The Department for Education has compiled a number of further SEND apps, games, and resources for teachers as part of its remote learning resources list
