The prime responsibility for the performance of any school lies with the school itself. We work in partnership with our schools to maintain school standards and a culture of rigour. SAfE and all Surrey schools assume collective responsibility for school improvement in the county.
We facilitate leaders, teachers and other professionals from within Surrey to become reflective partners, building on research and sharing best practice to maintain high standards of education. These SAfE School Improvement Leaders work alongside schools who need support and challenge, to ensure rapid improvement, for the best possible outcomes for children through excellent education. Our 4 tier system of supporting schools is detailed in the diagram above.
