Governance Recognition Programme
We are delighted to have a framework for providing a system of recognising and thanking governors and governance professionals/clerks for their significant contributions and impact in their governance roles across Surrey maintained schools and/or academies. We want to honour those who have demonstrated a substantial contribution to school leadership to improve outcomes for Surrey children and young people.
The nominations are considered by a panel twice termly in Autumn and Spring and once termly in Summer.
All the information you need is in the guidance document below. The nomination forms can be completed and submitted by the chair of the governing body (or local governing body), a headteacher or trust board. There are five categories that the nominator can choose from, please see below.
