Under the broad title of Leadership Development, SAfE can offer the following support;

Learning about Leadership: a high-quality development pathway for leaders at all levels, including induction, professional learning and networking; retaining SAfE’s ability to respond with agility to changing needs of schools.

Living your Leadership: school practitioners and education system leaders are provided with a cohesive and coordinated range of learning opportunities, achieving a blend of evidence-informed learning and solution-focused approaches to current leadership issues in schools.

How do we Deliver Leadership Development?

Our programme is delivered by current great practitioners or those that have up-to-date and recent experience and evaluated to ensure maximum learning impact for all. We work with national, and international experts, underpinned by evidence informed research so that schools can access the highest quality training and development. As a not-for-profit organisation our traded offer provides value for money, is priced fairly and ensures sustainability of provision.

Schools Alliance for Excellence professional learning principles fully align with the vision and values of the Chartered College of Teaching and therefore we are working to design training and programmes that support teachers and leaders working towards Chartered Status assessments.

We are working towards accreditation as a ‘Chartered Status CPD Partner’ and developing our professional learning programme so it can support candidates on their pathway to Chartered Status. Learning About Leadership Offer

Our leadership programmes and training courses provide opportunities for system leaders and aspiring leaders to develop their leadership skills, knowledge and experience through facilitated programmes which involve individual and group session work.

All our courses and programmes are built with high-quality evidence-informed content and are delivered by expert professionals from our educational community.

SAfE offers dedicated leadership programmes to support;

  • New Headteacher Induction: an induction programme to develop your leadership and establish relationships with other headteachers, building your own professional network. The programme is cross-phase, so new headteachers from a rich mix of settings come together for these sessions.
  • SENCo Leadership:for SENCO leaders new to role and an ‘advanced’ programme for experienced SENCOs in post

Living Your Leadership Offer

Our leadership support programmes and training courses provide opportunities for school leaders to reflect, collaborate and apply their leadership learning through events, conferences, programmes and scheduled communities of learning networks.

All our courses and programmes are built with high-quality evidence-informed content and are delivered by expert professionals from our educational community.
