Bringing the future to you, with the AI Education Roadshow, unlocking your schools potential while addressing the challenges we will all face.

This roadshow introduces primary school staff to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, demystifying what AI is, how it works, and its potential impact on schools. The session will explore practical applications, address common concerns, and provide hands-on opportunities to experience AI solutions for everyday school challenges.

AI is the new buzz word across all industries, promising process improvement, increased productivity and automation of laborious tasks, but how true is this for the education sector? Can we materialise these benefits, at what cost and where do we start?
This SAfE  AI roadshow will go someway to answering your questions, and giving you practical hands-on experience.

1. Understand what AI is and how it works in simple terms.
2. Recognise the potential benefits and challenges of AI in schools, including ethical concerns like deep fakes.
3. Learn practical use cases for AI that can support school staff in their daily roles.
4. Gain hands-on experience with AI tools to solve real school problems and learn how to integrate AI effectively.
5. Develop confidence in addressing AI-related questions and concerns within the school community.

Intended impact on practice:

• Improved awareness of the social and cultural risks and issues AI can create
• Allow AI leaders to make informed strategic decisions and plan for the short and medium term
• Support the identification of practical uses of AI across all areas of school life
• Gain experience in discussion and using AI

Intended improvement and/or evaluation of impact for pupils, including those with SEND and/or disadvantaged backgrounds

• Support the creation of comprehensive plans and strategies to deliver OAP using AI to differentiate
• Improve data analysis at a pupil level to identify needs
• Reduce administrative work effort allowing more time to deliver support to those who need it
