Join SAfE and Surrey County Council, for a one-hour webinar focusing of the role of governors/trustees in enhancing pupil attendance. In this session an overview will be provided of the national and Surrey-specific attendance landscape and the new statutory guidance, ‘Working together to improve school attendance’. Attendees will gain a thorough understanding of these requirements and the practical steps needed to implement them effectively within their schools. Additionally, the webinar will highlight the significant impact governors and trustees can have on improving attendance rates, from policy development to strategic oversight and fostering a culture of attendance.

This is a lunch and learn session running from 12:30 to 13:30.
