The SAfE School Improvement Team has commissioned this training in response to an emerging theme from recent Surrey Ofsted visits that report a need for development of sequencing of curriculum in the early years and foundation stages.

Gaby Jones, Teaching and Learning Lead at SFET will deliver three sessions in Autumn 23 as follows:

Session 1: Thursday 21 September , 4-5.30pm at St John the Baptist – Identifying core knowledge and how this builds sequentially.

Session 2:  Monday 16th October, 4-5.30pm at St John the Baptist – How the EYFS curriculum leads into the wider school curriculum and how can subject leaders can articulate this.

Session 3: Monday 13th November , 4-5pm Online – Q&A session.

  • Subject leaders are able to articulate sequencing of learning from EYFS to Year 6.
