Head of Sixth 24-25

This network is a community of KS5 leaders who engage in learning, thinking and sharing experiences of leading post-16 learning.

Our sessions include input on relevant issues by external experts and our own expert HO6 leaders. Alongside input, our leaders collaborate, discuss and share best practices and approaches. The agenda for each session is shaped by a steering group of sixth form leaders. This network aims to develop professional leadership attributes as well as expertise in KS5. We meet termly, at the SAfE HQ.

• An opportunity to share good practice and network with other Heads of Sixth Forms

Intended Impact on Practice

• Building a community of good practice as a support for Heads of Sixth Form in Surrey

Intended improvement and/or evaluation of impact for pupils, including those with SEND and/or disadvantaged backgrounds

• Sharing knowledge and skills for the benefit of all children, but particularly those with additional needs.
