Inclusion Strategy Autumn 26 Alternative Workshop date
Writing your Inclusion Strategy
Every school must have an inclusion strategy published on their website by 31st December 2026. Are you ready?
SAfE are supporting schools with this challenge through a face to face ½ day workshop
Due to popular demand, we are delighted to be running an additional Inclusion Strategy session.
The workshop will be on Monday 12th October, 09:30 – 12:30.
The workshop aims to ensure that delegates leave with a structured draft of their inclusion strategy document and will include:
- A focus on the seven principles of inclusion
- Assist delegates to articulate universal offers
- Support delegates to identify common barriers to learning
- Encourage delegates to narrate how data informs strategy
Learning from the workshop will be supplemented by a one hour twilight webinar on Thursday 5th November 4-5pm which will ensure that delegates are ready to meet the 31st December publication deadline.
By the end of the workshop, delegates will leave with a structured draft Inclusion Strategy, including:
- A focus on the Seven Principles of Inclusion
- Support to articulate your school’s Universal Offer
- Guidance on identifying common barriers to learning
- Practical approaches to explain how data informs strategy and decision-making
This workshop will be facilitated by Kenny Wheeler and Michele Miller.
