New Headteacher Breakfast 24-25

New Surrey Headteachers are warmly invited to join the New Headteachers’ Welcome Breakfast, run by Schools Alliance for Excellence (SAfE), in partnership with Surrey County Council.

All new Headteachers in Surrey are invited to attend, whether or not you are new in role. Join us to meet other headteachers new in post and/or new to Surrey and to meet the SAfE Team and key members of the Surrey County Council Education Department.

SAfE is committed to developing outstanding leaders who can transform schools and ultimately improve outcomes for children and young people. We are passionate about supporting collaborative partnerships. The breakfast is an opportunity to find out about our new HT induction programme, network with your peers, meet a range of professionals who will partner with you during your Headship in Surrey.

An understanding of the support available to Headteachers in Surrey schools
Opportunity to meet and network with SAfE teams, Surrey County Council contacts and other new Surrey Headteachers.

Intended Impact on Practice
Introduction to a number of key contacts, building a professional support network.

Intended improvement and/or evaluation of impact for pupils, including those with SEND and/or disadvantaged backgrounds
Supporting good school leadership will benefit all pupils, including those with SEND and/or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
