Secondary Pastoral Leaders Forum 24-25

This forum will provide opportunities for current, and evidence-based professional learning and development for Pastoral leaders in secondary schools.

The forum is aimed at Key Stage leaders, Assistant and Deputy Heads with responsibility for behaviour in their schools. We are responsive in our approach, addressing current and relevant issues. Our conferences include expert input alongside collaboration and discussion between pastoral leaders as they work to create school environments where our young people can thrive, learn and grow.

Pastoral leadership in Secondary schools is constantly demanding and busy. Prioritising leadership development, reflection and learning can be challenging, and SAfE seeks to provide support for our pastoral leaders that is parallel to our curriculum leadership support.

The beliefs, knowledge and or teaching practices this programme aims to address:

• An opportunity to share good practice and network with other secondary pastoral leads

Intended improvement and/or evaluation of impact for pupils, including those with SEND and/or disadvantaged backgrounds:

• Building a community of good practice as a support for secondary pastoral leads in Surrey secondary schools
