Strategic Development of Provision in Schools – Provision Management Spring 23

Whole school focus on provision and how leaders ensure that all staff are well trained, and that support is demand-led, based on the needs of the current and future cohorts. An opportunity to take a strategic view on the whole school infrastructure for meeting the needs of learners with SEND and those without.

Taking each of the elements and exploring what it looks like in the context of each setting. What specific actions do school leaders need to take in their setting to build foundations for developing a framework for constantly improving inclusion?

This workshop is subsidised for all Surrey schools by Surrey County Council. The cost for this half-day face-to-face workshop is therefore only £50 for SAfE Subscribers and Non-Subscribers alike.

• Knowing the characteristics of learners in your setting
• Developing your workforce
• Identifying the right provision
• Developing the quality of your provision
• Measuring and evaluating data to monitor impact
• Assessment and tracking systems

• Strategic reflection on the whole school infrastructure for meeting the needs of learners with SEND and those without.
