Join Sarah Lyles (PSHE, Wellbeing & Surrey Healthy Schools Lead) and Kate Crockatt (Public Health Lead – Sexual Health) from Surrey Healthy Schools, for a one-hour webinar focusing on how governors/trustees can support a strategic approach to Healthy Schools in their own schools.

For governors to gain increased knowledge and understanding regarding:

• the Surrey Healthy Schools approach to wellbeing, health, inclusion and achievement
• the benefits of taking a planned, sustainable, positive and preventative approach to wellbeing, and the role of the formal and informal curriculum, along with appropriate services
• the Surrey Healthy Schools Self-Evaluation Tool, providing interactive and online support for leadership and development
• the ways that the Surrey Healthy Schools approach and Self-Evaluation Tool can positively impact upon their strategic governance role and school vision
• the free PSHE training offer for school staff
• partnership working to strengthen proactive safeguarding practices – this session has a particular focus upon sexual health and reducing unwanted teenage pregnancies
