Year 3-5 Cross-school Writing Standardisation Spring 27

This session provides the opportunity for teachers in Y3, 4 and 5 to reflect on assessment in their school and use a writing framework to compare their pupil work with other schools.

Teachers will have a clearer understanding of what expected looks like in their year group and create exemplification materials to support future assessment.

Teachers will benefit from working with other schools to further develop their own practice and will feel more confident about assessment through discussions and looking at exemplars.

Use frameworks to assess work, network with other schools and better understand the expectations of writing throughout KS2.

Schools across Surrey will share best practice, develop their understanding of writing in each year group and apply the standards to work from their own school.
